I started out as a client of KVI and because I had such a great experience with them I am now part of the KVI team based in Australia.

I was born in the South of England and then moved to Guernsey in the Channel Islands and then in my mid-20s I emigrated to the “slightly bigger” island of Australia and although I have worked all over the world, Australia is my home.

My career in the Airline and Hospitality Industry spans 35 years or more working as Cabin Crew and Customer Service for BIA, Air UK, British Caledonian and British Airways where I still work as Worldwide Crew on a tiny part-time contract, which means I am up to date with the industry, but I also have plenty of time to service my clients.

In the hospitality and tour industry, I have also worked for Golf and Spa Resorts for 10 years, in Australia, the Caribbean, Malaysia, and the UK and for Club Med in the Caribbean and Mexico and I have Air Cruising Australia working as Crew and Tour Guide for their outback tours.

There isn’t much I don’t know about traveling and places to see and do around the world… As I have been fortunate enough to have travelled the globe many times over through my airline career and overseas postings, including the UK and Europe, Far East, Asia, Middle East, Africa, North America, South America, the Pacific Islands, the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and of course Australia and New Zealand.

Then, just when I thought I had experienced everything…. 6 years ago my husband and I went on our first cruise… And we absolutely loved it…

After a lifetime of traveling on staff standby airline tickets with nail-biting pre-departure uncertainty and living out of a suitcase as crew, the pleasure of having a confirmed cruise booking and being able to actually unpack and relax was sublime.

What we love about cruising is that once you are onboard you settle into your cabin (stateroom), explore your ship and then set sail on your marine adventure knowing that in the morning a new destination will be on the horizon and you haven’t had to do anything but be as social as you want to be (or not) and enjoy a great nights sleep.

So now we are absolutely hooked on cruising and highly recommend it as the most relaxing, rejuvenating holiday escape.
